She Loves Kisses

Since my daughter came into this world, kissing has become essential to our daily connection. From the earliest days of her infancy, I’ve found immense joy in embracing and kissing my newborn. After all, what mother could resist showering her baby with affection? It’s a natural and intuitive inclination to envelop our little ones in love.

As my daughter has grown, I’ve marveled at the mutual nature of our bond. It’s not just that she enjoys my hugs and cuddles but has developed a sweet obsession with kissing me. It warms my heart to see her playfulness, pausing only to call me over for a lovely exchange of kisses. She reciprocates with double affection in those moments—on my lips and multiple times on both cheeks.

Even amid the hustle of my daily responsibilities, I’ve learned to prioritize these precious moments. Whenever my toddler interrupts my work with a request for a kiss, I gladly comply, knowing that denying her affection would lead to adorable growls and playful tantrums. My little one has mastered keeping me under her delightful spell of kisses.

Our bedtime routine further solidifies our connection as we continue to co-sleep. Waking up to her reaching out for me and planting kisses on my lips and cheeks has become a cherished ritual. Ensuring that I’m there beside her as she wakes up has become a source of comfort as I savor the delightful clinginess my daughter displays.

The daily exchange of kisses has evolved into a beautiful and heartwarming routine. Every morning, as my daughter wakes up, she seeks me out for that first kiss—a gesture that fills my heart with profound joy. It’s a testament to our deep bond, and I relish that I get to experience this pure and genuine display of affection from my sweet Bella.

Witnessing her growth in cleverness and adorableness is a continuous source of amazement. As the days pass, I remain captivated by our unique and heartening connection, strengthened by kisses and simple yet profound language.
