Motherhood is a Tough Job

Motherhood is undoubtedly my most significant role – a constant, 24/7 commitment that knows no breaks, holidays, or sick days. As a single mother, navigating this demanding responsibility becomes even more challenging as I wrestle with the absence of moral and physical support from family members and relatives. Compounding this challenge is the lack of financial compensation for this relentless job. If motherhood had a salary, mothers would unquestionably be among the highest-paid individuals globally, and I say this with absolute conviction.

This journey started from conception, marking a lifelong commitment to facing unpredictable daily challenges. Three years ago, after giving birth, I confronted an unyielding period of sleeplessness due to my baby’s sleep regression, ultimately leading to my decision to resign from my corporate job. The hardships persist, with the ongoing responsibility of being a breastfeeding mom from day one until the present.

However, amidst these challenges, motherhood brings an incomparable reward: waking up each morning with a smile, aware of the boundless, unconditional love accompanying me throughout life. Despite the sacrifices and the demanding nature of raising my daughter, the ultimate success lies in the radiant smile she wears. The hugs, kisses, and shared laughter with my toddler eclips any hardship, making each sacrifice worthwhile.

With each passing day in my journey through motherhood, I find myself growing stronger and evolving into a better person. Regardless of the problems and obstacles that may arise, I draw strength from the unwavering support of my offspring, who serve as a perpetual source of cheer and companionship. Being a mom is undeniably tough, yet it’s a role I embrace with unwavering commitment. No challenge is impossible because I find the resilience to persevere with my child by my side. I revel in the joy of motherhood, viewing it not just as a job but as an enduring accomplishment, a source of pride that will resonate with me for a lifetime.
